We’re excited to be offering Online Spring Break Camps for the week of April 12 – 16!

Participants will receive live instruction from our experienced Instructors and limited class sizes will allow students to meet new people and build friendships! We have a variety of camps to choose from for all ages – register today to secure your spot.

Art & Crafts Club

With Mirka and the Explore It! team!

9:30 – 11:00 am  •  Grades 1 – 3 • $120

Join us in this super creative Art & Crafts Club for Spring Break, where participants will cultivate their artistic explorations through the creation of unique projects. Using a variety of materials and mediums, the group will be encouraged to dig into the endless artistic possibilities, expressing themselves, exploring, learning, reflecting and supporting each other as we grow and create. Well-known artists, and current crafting trends will inspire daily themes to get us engaged in a new dimension of creation!

  • Requirements: Participants will need a tablet, laptop or desktop computer and a reliable connection to the internet to connect with the group for the daily sessions as well as some simple crafting or art materials to participate in the sessions. Details about the requested materials for each session will be emailed to all participants the week before the program begins.

Choose Your Own Adventure: Video Game Design

With Chelsea!

9:30 – 11:00 am  •  Grades 4 – 8 • $120

Love making up stories? Role playing characters or adventures? During this Write Your Own Adventure program, students will use storytelling, imagination, and basic coding with the software TWINE to code and create their very own, interactive, choose your own adventure video game!

  • Requirements: No coding experience necessary. Participants will need a reliable connection to the internet, and a laptop or desktop that is capable of downloading files. Please note: tablets, ipads or Google Chrome Books usually do not have this capability. The program we will be learning to use is called Twine. Prior to our first session, please visit https://twinery.org/ and download Version 1.4.2. 

Dance, Move, Jive & Flow

Do you love to dance and move, always grooving around the house? Join us for this daily dance party and see where your energy can take you! Participants will explore elements of diverse dance styles, while cultivating the possibilities of their own movement. Each day will feature a different theme and songs – to inspire movement, melody and fun for all. What hidden dance skills do you have, ready to groove to the surface?

  • Requirements: Participants will need a tablet, laptop or desktop computer and a reliable connection to the internet to connect with the group for the daily sessions. A bit of space to move about is needed to engage in this fun program!

Creative Kids Yoga Party

11:05 – 11:40 am  •  Grades 2 – 6 • $40

It’s a Yoga Party! Join Liz in this fun and active yoga break where ee will combine yoga, movement, creativity, and imagination – exploring through fun and play. Together, we’ll embark on yoga journeys around the world; we’ll become Yogi Superheroes to save the planet; and we’ll learn the wisdom of ancient Yogi Wizards to create a party right on our own mats each day! We’ll see you at the yoga party!

  • Requirements: Participants will need a tablet, laptop or desktop computer and a reliable connection to the internet to connect with the group for the daily sessions. Participants may find a yoga mat and a small blanket to be helpful, but only a bit of space to move about and create is needed to engage in this fun program!

Musical Theatre : Kids on Broadway!

12:00 – 1:30 pm  •  Grades 1 – 6 • $140

Note : Participants will be divided by age based on the overall size of the group.

Join the Explore It! team for Musical Theatre and become a theatrical success! With a focus on the love of the performing arts, we will explore areas of singing, acting and dancing while rehearsing. Participants will finish the week with a mini-online-performance for family as well as the option for a final video compilation of select songs. Taking the size of the group into consideration, we will work with students according to their age and abilities to ensure appropriate attention is given to foster the development of both confidence and skills in this unique and powerful art form. For March Break, we will be exploring the energy of Kids on Broadway — with  a focus on Broadway shows featuring classic roles for children such as The Sound of Music, School of Rock, Annie, THe Secret Garden and more. Musical Theatre has it all — from chorus lines to jazz hands, dance breaks and dazzling costumes – truly – what could be more amazing than a musical?!

Jr. Theatre Arts Camp!

2:00 – 2:45 pm  •  Grades JK – 1 • $40

A first-time theatre experience for future stars of the stage! In small groups, little entertainers have fun acting out stories, engaging in role play, singing and dancing. Whether shy or outgoing, students will blossom in this performing arts program, which builds confidence, encourages creative self-expression, and improves listening and speaking skills.

Adventures at Hogwarts!

1:35 – 3:05 pm  •  Grades 1- 3 • $120

Hop on the Hogwarts express and celebrate with us! Step inside a world where magic is real in this fun and engaging camp. Together, we’ll explore the Magic of Hogwarts, learning the same lessons in Witchcraft and Wizardry that Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny did in school! … We’ll explore the 4 houses at Hogwarts, discover our wands, learn magic spells, and concoct potions – and we’ll wrap the week up with a big party – with costumes and games and more! So ditch those muggle duds and get ready for your cape… The sorting hat is coming your way!

  • Requirements: Participants will need a tablet, laptop or desktop computer and a reliable connection to the internet to connect with the group for the daily sessions as well as some simple crafting or science materials to participate in the workshops. Details about the requested materials for each session will be emailed to all participants the week before the program begins.

Digital Art : Fantasy World Building

Join us for an exciting week of digital art workshops.  We will be taking inspiration from all things fantastical. Build fantasy worlds and design the life that inhabits them as we explore new digital art skills. Whether you love gaming, enjoy fantasy movies and novels, play Dungeons & Dragons or just want to learn more about digital art, join us and bring to life your wildest imaginings!

  • Requirements: Participants will need a tablet, laptop or desktop computer and a reliable connection to the internet to connect with the group for the daily sessions. For this camp we will be using the free software Autodesk: Sketchbook.
