STEAM Outdoor Adventure Lab
Junior & Senior Kinder • $241.50
STEAM Outdoor Adventure Lab invites young explorers to discover the wonders of nature through hands-on science, creative art projects, and playful outdoor adventures. Each session encourages curiosity and problem-solving as participants engage in experiments, nature-based crafts, and group activities that spark their imagination. From studying local ecosystems to building artistic creations inspired by the environment, they will develop a deeper connection to the world around them. Through exploration and play, they will enhance their observation skills, teamwork, and appreciation for science and creativity. This engaging program fosters a love for learning while encouraging active outdoor fun!

Ballet

Junior Kinder – Senior Kinder • $262.50
Ballet provides students with an introduction to the basic positions, movements, and vocabulary of classical ballet. Lessons focus on posture, coordination, and simple exercises at the barre and in the centre. Students will develop an understanding of rhythm and form while building strength and balance through structured repetition and gentle technique work. This program offers a calm and consistent environment for those beginning their study of ballet.
Please note: Students will participate wearing their school clothes. Special ballet outfits are not required and should not be sent. Optional: ballet or jazz shoes may be sent if your child has them, but they are not necessary.

RoboBuilders: LEGO Robotics

Grade 1 – 3 • $262.50
This LEGO Robotics program is a fantastic introduction to the world of robotics that will instantly see your children excited about STEM. Using the EV3 Mindstorms kits, participants will learn how to build and program while designing different and increasingly complex robots every week. Students will be taught the most important aspects of coding, including debugging and repair, working in precisely calculated steps, and repeated testing. Beyond the fun, there are a host of wonderful benefits that come with this program, including the development of logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, digital literacy, and the practical application of scientific methodology.

Idea Factory Art Creation Lab

Grade 1 – 3 • $255.50
In Idea Factory: Art Creation Lab, students explore art as a place to experiment, imagine, and create with confidence. Each week, young artists are introduced to new materials, techniques, and creative prompts that encourage curiosity and problem-solving while leaving plenty of room for individual expression. Projects are process-focused rather than product-driven, helping students build skills in planning, persistence, and creative thinking in a supportive studio environment. Whether students love to draw, paint, build, or try something new, Idea Factory invites them to tinker, explore, and turn their ideas into art they’re proud of.

Capture It! Photography Club

Grade 4 – 6 • $255.50
In Capture It! Photography Club, students learn how to see the world through a photographer’s lens while developing creativity, focus, and visual storytelling skills. Each week, students explore photography basics such as composition, light, perspective, and framing through hands-on activities and guided photo challenges. With an emphasis on observation and thoughtful image-making, participants are encouraged to experiment, take creative risks, and reflect on what makes a photo meaningful. Using our supplied traditional cameras as a starting point, we can also explore different methods of digital photography if interest is there — including working with phones or tablets. Students may even dive into special effects and introductory photo editing techniques to enhance and transform their images. Whether snapping their first photos or building on existing skills, students will gain confidence, artistic awareness, and a new appreciation for capturing moments in their world.

Celebrity Chef Cooking Club

Grade 4 – 6 • $262.50
Let’s get cooking! With recipes from the hottest names in the kitchen, this star-studded program showcases the passions of the most renowned chefs and their delectable, yet doable, dishes. Learn about proper technique with recipes from Gordon Ramsay, or the science of good food with Alton Brown. Explore the pure joy of cooking with James Barber, the fusion of cultures with Marcus Samuelsson, the deep love of food culture with Nigella Lawson or the impressive Food Revolution of Jamie Oliver. All of this and more will be on our plates this term as we dig into the lessons we can learn from celebrity chefs – and of course, indulge in our tasty creations. Yum!

The Travelling Spoon Global Cooking Club

Grade 1 – 3 • $375.00
In The Travelling Spoon: Global Cooking Club, students explore cultures from around the world through hands-on cooking and food discovery. Each week, young chefs “travel” to a new country as they learn to prepare simple, age-appropriate recipes while discovering global flavours, traditions, and kitchen skills. Guided instruction emphasizes teamwork, safety, and curiosity as students measure, mix, and create together. Along the way, participants build confidence, cultural awareness, and an appreciation for how food connects people across the world—one delicious dish at a time.

Jr Architects: Design The World

Grade 1 – 3 • $365.00
We spend most of our lives in buildings. We make our homes in them. We go to school in them. We work and eat and play in them. But why – or how did people start making buildings? For those with a passion for drawing, or dreams of creating big builds, this program explores how architects work, moving through the process of planning and designing to construction and creation. Aspiring architects will discover design techniques, along with different architectural styles, before bringing their visions to life.. The exciting world of architecture is at our fingertips… What will you build?

Chess Explorers

Grade 1 – 6 • $345.00
Make your next move a smart one! In Chess Explorers, students will discover the exciting world of chess through playful lessons, creative challenges, and friendly competition. Each week, our young strategists will learn how the pieces move, explore opening tactics, and practice thinking several moves ahead—all while having fun with their peers. Through guided instruction, cooperative play, and confidence-building matches, campers will strengthen important life skills like focus, patience, and problem-solving. Whether they’re brand new to the game or already know a few moves, every child will feel like a true champion by season’s end!

AquaMix

Branksome Hall Teacher Run • Grade 3 – 6 • $29.00
Note: this program runs 6 weeks only: March 24 – April 28, 2026
AquaMix is a dynamic club where students explore a variety of water activities, games, and challenges designed to strengthen swimming abilities and build water confidence. Through everything from water polo to underwater scavenger hunts, we turn the pool into a playground for skill-building and teamwork. In order to swim in the lap pool, students must swim 15m non-stop and return without touching the floor to pass the swim test; students might be asked to wear a life jacket if they cannot meet this requirement.
While students of all swimming abilities are welcome to join, swimmers are required to wear a one-piece bathing suit (preferably a BH suit), a swim cap (optional ONLY for AquaMix), and goggles.

Intro to Noodle Jr.

Branksome Hall Teacher Run • Grade 4 • $89.00
Over the course of ten weeks, Grade 4 students will immerse themselves in the world of entrepreneurship by operating as a singular company tasked with solving problems through design sprints. As they progress through the program, students will collaboratively formulate a company vision, master various prototyping techniques using the iHub’s fabrication technologies, and learn to develop captivating product pitches. This hands-on experience provides a vital introduction to business and design thinking, specifically equipping students with the skills and confidence needed for their upcoming Noodle Jr. company.

Puzzle Play: Think • Build • Solve

Junior & Senior Kinder • $345.00
Puzzle Play: Think • Build • Solve is a hands-on problem-solving program designed especially for JK–SK learners. Through age-appropriate puzzles, building challenges, and cooperative games, children explore patterns, spatial thinking, and early logic while practicing turn-taking, focus, and flexible thinking. Each class encourages children to plan, test ideas, and try again in a playful, supportive environment — building confidence, persistence, and joy in figuring things out, with no pressure to “get it right.”

Disney Kitchen Cooking Club

Junior & Senior Kinder • $375.00
Step into the world of magic and creativity with Disney Kitchen Cooking Club! This fun, interactive program invites kids to cook up their favorite Disney-inspired dishes, from magical snacks to princess-themed treats and adventure-filled meals. Every session is a chance to bring beloved characters and stories to life through food, sparking creativity and excitement in the kitchen. In this hands-on program, children will follow simple, kid-friendly recipes inspired by Disney movies, cooking up everything from themed cupcakes and princess cakes to snacks fit for a pirate or a space ranger. They’ll learn essential cooking skills like measuring, stirring, and decorating, while discovering how to make food fun, delicious, and imaginative. With each new recipe, kids will explore a different Disney movie or character, bringing a bit of magic to their cooking while building confidence and kitchen skills.

Musical Theatre: Seussical The Musical
Grade 1 – 2 • Spring 2026 Musical Theatre Production • $625.00
This spring, our Grade 1–2 performers will step into the colourful world of Seussical—a joyful, imaginative musical inspired by the beloved stories of Dr. Seuss. Through playful characters, catchy songs, and lots of movement, students will explore the idea that everyone matters and that kindness and courage can make a big difference.
Our special adaptation of Seussical is thoughtfully designed for younger performers, with age-appropriate staging, choreography, and vocal work that support confidence, creativity, and a love of being on stage. Students will learn through games, songs, and group storytelling while building early musical theatre skills in a warm, encouraging ensemble environment.
Rehearsals will run on Wednesdays from school dismissal to 5:35 PM (March 25 through May 13), with additional rehearsals on Thursday, April 30 and Thursday May 7.
Please note: some rehearsals may run until 6:00 PM.
Performance Day: Thursday, May 14.
The registration fee includes:

- A performance package with tickets, photo set, video recording, and more

Code-IT-Hacks

Grade 1 – 3 • $505.00
Help Waffles cross the road without crashing! Busyville’s roads are packed with zooming cars, and Waffles needs help crossing safely! In this Scratch coding adventure, students become game designers as they bring Waffles’ adventure to life. They will design their own Crossy Road–style game while learning core coding concepts. Kids will program movement, create moving cars, detect crashes, and design a winning finish line.

Dance & Games

Grade 1 – 3 • $375.00
Get ready to move, groove, and have a blast! In this fun and high-energy class, students will learn dance routines in a variety of styles including Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, and Cheer. Each week brings something new—choreographing dances with friends, exploring creative props, and playing lively, movement-based games that keep everyone smiling. This all-levels program is all about building confidence, coordination, and creativity in a welcoming and inclusive space. No experience necessary—just bring your sneakers and get ready to dance!

Stage Craft: Acting & Improv Performers Lab

Grade 3 – 6 • $365.00
In Stage Craft: Acting & Improv Performers Lab, students build foundational acting skills that support success in our larger musical theatre productions. Through theatre games, improvisation, and guided scene work, participants develop confidence, expressive movement, clear communication, and strong ensemble skills. Sessions focus on listening, responding, and storytelling—essential tools for performers learning to work on stage with others. With an emphasis on exploration and process rather than performance, this lab provides a supportive space for students to grow their stage presence while preparing them for future musical theatre experiences.

ChangeMakers Lab: STEAM Eco Solutions

Grade 4 – 6 • $345.00
In ChangeMakers Lab: STEAM Eco Solutions, students explore how science, technology, engineering, arts, and math can be used to understand environmental challenges and design creative solutions. Through hands-on projects focused on sustainability, eco-design, and real-world problem solving, participants learn to think critically, collaborate effectively, and experiment with new ideas. This lab encourages curiosity, innovation, and resilience as students explore how small, thoughtful actions—supported by STEAM thinking—can inspire positive change in their communities and the world around them.

Canadian Safety Council Babysitting Certificate

Grade 6 • $375.00
Prepare your child to become a confident, responsible babysitter with the Canada Safety Council’s Babysitting Certificate Program. This engaging and informative program is designed for students in grade 5 and up, providing them with the essential skills and knowledge to safely care for children. From child development to emergency response and first aid, this course covers everything needed to be a successful babysitter. Throughout the program, participants will learn important babysitting skills, including how to manage different age groups, handle emergencies, and keep kids safe and entertained. They’ll also practice planning age-appropriate activities and understand the basics of effective communication with parents. At the end of the program, participants will take a final exam to assess their knowledge. Those who pass the exam will earn a Babysitting Certificate, validating their readiness and skills to babysit responsibly.

- NOTE: Students must attend all sessions and establish a passing grade of 75 percent on the final examination in order to receive their certificate.
- NOTE: In order to complete the certification, participants will be required to attend all sessions and receive a passing grade on a test covering the materials. The test will be held during the last session of the term and make-up opportunities (if requested) will be at the discretion of an Explore It! company director.

In Creative Movement: Rhythm & Groove!, students jump into the joy of music and movement through playful dance games, upbeat rhythms, and imaginative movement activities. Each session invites kids to wiggle, spin, stomp, and stretch as they explore how their bodies move to different beats and styles of music. With lots of laughter, creativity, and freedom to try new moves, this class builds confidence, coordination, and musicality—all while having an absolute blast. The Sweet Spot: Decadent Culinary Creations

In The Sweet Spot: Decadent Culinary Creations, students explore the art of making irresistible sweet treats while building confidence and creativity in the kitchen. Each week, young chefs prepare, assemble, and decorate decadent creations as they experiment with flavours, textures, and presentation. With an emphasis on teamwork, kitchen safety, and hands-on discovery, participants develop practical skills and pride in their creations. Science Playground Experiment Lab

In Science Playground: Experiment Lab, students become curious scientists as they explore exciting hands-on experiments that make science feel like play. Each week features new activities where students mix, test, build, and observe as they investigate topics like chemical reactions, forces and motion, air and water, and simple engineering challenges. With a focus on curiosity, safe experimentation, and “try it and see!” learning, students build confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills—while having a ton of fun discovering how the world works.

Puzzle Masters: Game Design & Strategy Creators

Grade 4 – 6 • $365.00
In Puzzle Masters: Game Design & Strategy Creators, students explore logic, strategy, and creative problem-solving through puzzles, games, and escape room–style challenges. Each session invites participants to crack codes, solve clues, and test strategies as they discover how games and puzzles are designed. Students also experiment with creating their own games, designing clever rules, and building challenges for others to solve. Through hands-on collaboration and strategic thinking, participants strengthen planning, communication, and critical thinking skills—learning to think several steps ahead while having a whole lot of fun.

Fashion Lab: Design, Style & Self Expression

Grade 4 – 6 • $365.00
In this fun program, we’ll explore different fashion based arts such as drawing and pattern making, sewing and folding or draping, weaving techniques and creating to make our own fashionable crafts. From hair clips, necklaces, and toys, to purses, jewelry boxes, and mp3 sleeves – we can make it all! Working with different materials, students will be able to design and create fashionable items they will be proud to take home, wear and use. The project ideas in this program are endless – join us for some fashionista fun!

Yoga Garden: Spring Explorers!

Junior Kinder – Grade 2 • $207.00
In Yoga Garden: Spring Explorers!, students stretch, move, and relax as they explore yoga through imaginative movement, mindful breathing, and playful poses inspired by the natural world. Each session invites children to explore themes of growth, balance, and awareness through simple yoga flows, relaxation games, and moments of calm reflection. As the weather warms, we’ll look for opportunities to take some of our practice outdoors, allowing students to connect with fresh air and nature when conditions allow. With a focus on curiosity and connection rather than perfection, this program supports flexibility, strength, focus, and emotional regulation—offering a peaceful, refreshing way for students to unwind and recharge this spring.

Design & Sew: Stuffie Friends

Senior Kinder – Grade 4 • $207.00
In Design & Sew: Stuffie Friends, students design and create felt stuffed creations ranging from mini projects to full-sized soft friends, with both 2D and 3D designs introduced based on age and experience. Using age-appropriate sewing techniques and simple pattern work, each student is supported in working at their own level as they cut, stitch, and assemble their project. Projects are thoughtfully geared to the individual, allowing younger students to focus on foundational skills while older students take on more complex designs. With an emphasis on creativity, patience, and problem-solving, students build confidence and pride as they bring their one-of-a-kind felt creations to life.

Pawsitively Pets

Senior Kinder – Grade 6 • $207.00
Pawsitively Pets after-school programs give students the opportunity to learn about animals, science, and nature through fun, hands-on experiences. The program encourages responsibility, empathy, and curiosity as students explore the world of animals in a safe and supportive environment. Each day, participants will work with animals and take part in structured, skill-based activities that connect to STEAM learning goals. The program aims to build confidence, promote caring for living things, and help students better understand their role in the natural world.

Recreational Swim

Lead by Branksome Hall Aquatics Team • Grade 1 – 6 • $29.00
Recreational Swim is for students who want to relax and enjoy playing, swimming and spending time in the water. A variety of swim equipment will be available for students to use, such as life jackets, noodles, hula hoops, balls and more. In order to swim in the lap pool, students must swim 15m non-stop and return without touching the floor to pass the swim test. Street Style Dance Squad

Grade 3 – 6 • $207.00
In Street Style Dance Squad, students bring the energy as they explore dynamic street-style dance moves inspired by hip-hop and urban dance. Each session focuses on learning choreography, building rhythm and coordination, and developing personal style in a supportive, team-based environment. Dancers are encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and work together as they master new moves and combos. With upbeat music, plenty of movement, and a strong sense of squad spirit, this program is perfect for students who love to dance, perform, and move with attitude.

Canadian Safety Council Home Alone Certificate

Grade 4 – 5 • $225.00
Is your child ready to stay home alone? The Home Alone Safety program helps children and their families get ready for a child’s first steps towards independence and being without adult supervision. Safety and accident prevention are the common themes throughout the program. The information is relevant and current. Course content includes:
- Street smarts and safety
- People safety (“Tricky People” and Safe strangers)
- Online and internet safety
- Snacking and kitchen safety
- Home fire safety
- Preventing accidents
- How to handle emergencies and other situations
- Basic first aid skills
- NOTE: In order to complete the certification, participants will be required to attend all sessions and receive a passing grade on a test covering the materials. The test will be held during the last session of the term and make-up opportunities (if requested) will be at the discretion of an Explore It! company director.
