Welcome to Gabby’s Playhouse Kitchen, where cooking meets creativity! Inspired by the colourful world of Gabby’s Dollhouse, little chefs mix, mash, and decorate their way through cat-tastic culinary adventures. Each week, children whip up cheerful, no-bake recipes like rainbow fruit pizzas, sprinkle parfaits, and magical smoothies — all while practicing real kitchen skills such as measuring, stirring, and teamwork. With a dash of imagination and a sprinkle of fun, every class is a sweet celebration of curiosity, confidence, and creativity in the kitchen!

Make your next move a smart one! In Chess Champs, students will discover the exciting world of chess through playful lessons, creative challenges, and friendly competition. Each week, our young strategists will learn how the pieces move, explore opening tactics, and practice thinking several moves ahead—all while having fun with their peers. Through guided instruction, cooperative play, and confidence-building matches, campers will strengthen important life skills like focus, patience, and problem-solving. Whether they’re brand new to the game or already know a few moves, every child will feel like a true champion by season’s end!

Step into the world of digital creativity! In Create & Curate, students become designers, storytellers, and content creators as they explore how ideas take shape online. Each week brings a new creative challenge — from designing logos and digital posters to curating mood boards, visual stories, and social-good campaigns. Through hands-on projects and creative problem-solving, students learn the basics of visual design, branding, and storytelling while developing their own unique creative voice. Inspired by the energy and excitement of The Greatest Showman, this program introduces young performers to the world of musical theatre and stage performance. Students will learn songs, simple choreography, and expressive acting skills as they create their own mini musical spectacular. Each week, they’ll explore what it means to be part of an ensemble — building confidence, teamwork, and stage presence through play, creativity, and performance. Welcome to The Art Studio: Curious Creators, where imagination and exploration go hand in hand! Pop Star Kitchen: A Music Inspired Culinary Adventure!

Turn up the music and tie on your apron — it’s time to cook like a star! In Pop Star Kitchen, young chefs create colourful, music-inspired dishes each week, drawing inspiration from their favourite artists and songs. From glittery “Lover”-themed cupcakes to vibrant “Watermelon Sugar” smoothies, every recipe is a creative hit! Students learn real kitchen skills — mixing, measuring, decorating, and plating — while exploring how food can express personality, mood, and style. With teamwork, confidence, and a sprinkle of pop-star flair, this program is all about making food that looks amazing, tastes delicious, and totally deserves a standing ovation!

Grab your imagination and your building hands — it’s time to Build It! Jr.! In this fun, hands-on program, kids design, test, and create their own mini masterpieces using blocks, recyclables, and all kinds of creative materials. Each week brings a new challenge — from building bridges and towers to designing creatures, vehicles, and tiny towns. Through playful experimentation, children learn about balance, structure, and problem-solving while discovering that the best builders are the ones who aren’t afraid to try, test, and rebuild. With a focus on creativity, teamwork, and curiosity, Build It! Jr. is where little inventors dream big and build even bigger!

Kitchen Party Cooking Club
Grade 1 – 3
Join us in this hands-on program and explore your culinary creativity when food and music collide. Kitchen parties are all about sharing our meals, welcoming our friends and having a great time in the heart of the home (or class!) gathered around the preparation of a delicious meal. Both music and food will be explored in this program week to week, through themes such as east-coast tradition, the food of rock, rapper’s delights and musical munchies. Get ready to sing for your supper this term – it’s a Kitchen Party!

Game Lab: Design & Play STEAM Explorers
Grade 1 – 3
Welcome to GameLab, where creativity and strategy come together! Each week, students will invent, design, and play their own original board, card, and movement games. From story-based adventures to fast-paced challenges, they’ll explore how ideas become playable experiences — designing game pieces, writing rules, testing prototypes, and refining their creations. Along the way, students will build skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking — and everyone will leave with at least one finished game to share and play at home!

LEGO Robotics: Mindstorms Mechanics!
Grade 4 – 6
This LEGO Robotics program is a fantastic introduction to the world of robotics that will instantly see your children excited about STEM. Using the EV3 Mindstorms kits, participants will learn how to build and program while designing different and increasingly complex robots every week. Students will be taught the most important aspects of coding, including debugging and repair, working in precisely calculated steps, and repeated testing. Beyond the fun, there are a host of wonderful benefits that come with this program, including the development of logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, digital literacy, and the practical application of scientific methodology.

Circus Crew: Step Right Up and Let the Adventure Begin!
Junior Kinder – Grade 2
Step right up and join the Circus Crew! In this playful, high-energy program, young performers will explore the colourful world of the circus through movement, balance, and imagination. Each week, students will tumble, twirl, and clown around as they learn fun performance skills like ribbon dancing, juggling scarves, balancing, and expressive movement. Working together as a team, our Circus Crew will build coordination, confidence, and creativity — all while discovering that every great circus needs every performer to shine. The term ends with a joyful mini-show to celebrate their new skills and big personalities under the (imaginary) big top!

Stitch Squad: Sock Monkey Studio
Grade 2 – 6
Join the Stitch Squad and bring a classic craft to life! In this hands-on sewing adventure, students will design, stitch, and stuff their very own sock monkeys and plush pals, learning simple sewing, pattern-making, and decorative techniques along the way. Once their first monkey is complete, creativity takes centre stage as they add accessories, outfits, and even invent new soft-toy characters of their own! This program blends art, design, and imagination while building confidence, patience, and fine-motor skills — and everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind handmade friend.

“There’s nothing as amazing as a musical!”
From scripts and music to costumes, sets, and more, Explore It! is dedicated to giving young performers a truly professional experience. Our programs focus on both the personal growth of each student and the creation of a polished, high-quality production. Participants rehearse under the guidance of our talented creative team and conclude the term with live performances—both for their peers and for family and friends.
“Shrek”
For the Winter/Spring 2026 term, Grade 1–3 students will be performing in Shrek The Musical—a hilarious and heartwarming show filled with big laughs, bold characters, and a beautiful message about embracing who you are.
Based on the beloved animated film, this musical follows the unlikely hero Shrek as he sets out on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona, with a loudmouthed Donkey by his side and a host of fairy-tale creatures along the way. It’s a story full of fun and friendship that reminds us that true beauty comes from within.
Rehearsals will run on Tuesdays, (January 6 through May 19), with a Tech Rehearsal on Thursday May 21 and a Performance Day on Friday May 22. The registration fee includes:
- A snack at each rehearsal
- All materials, costumes, and hair & makeup
- A performance package with tickets, a photo set, video recording of the show, and more
We can’t wait to bring this fairy-tale world to life—because in this swampy, silly, and spectacular story, everyone gets their happily ever after.

“Into The Woods”
For the Winter/Spring 2026 term, Grade 4–6 students will be performing in Into the Woods—a witty, moving, and magical musical that weaves together familiar fairy tales with unexpected twists.
In this reimagined storybook world, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), and more beloved characters find their stories overlapping in surprising ways. As their wishes are granted, they soon discover that actions have consequences, and that the journey to “happily ever after” is more complicated—and more human—than they ever imagined.
With its clever storytelling, rich ensemble roles, and thought-provoking themes, Into the Woods offers young performers the chance to explore complex characters, build strong stage presence, and work collaboratively in an ensemble-driven production.
Rehearsals will run on Mondays, (January 12 through May 25), with a Tech Rehearsal on Tuesday May 26 and a Performance Day on Wednesday May 27. The registration fee includes:
