Explore It! is always looking for energetic, creative and reliable people to join our team of instructors, bringing engaging after-school programs to elementary-aged students at schools across the GTA.
Our instructors come from all kinds of backgrounds — educators, artists, performers, makers, chefs, scientists, coaches, university students, camp people and professionals with something interesting to share. Formal teaching experience isn’t always necessary. What matters most is that you’re great with kids, genuinely enthusiastic about what you teach, and able to turn that enthusiasm into an experience they’ll love being part of.
Versatility is a big plus! Many of our instructors teach programs across several subject areas, while others bring deep expertise to one particular specialty.
The Practical Stuff
Our programs generally run on weekday afternoons, most often between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., during the fall, winter and spring school terms. We’re especially interested in instructors who are available two or more afternoons per week.
Explore It! provides program support, curriculum and/or planning guidance, materials and supplies, and an experienced team behind you — so you can focus on creating a fantastic experience for your students.
