Brought to you by the Fun Plus team, Explore It! is proud to offer engaging day camps for BSS staff families throughout the school year.
While some of the camps listed below may also be available to the wider BSS student community, this page is specifically for BSS staff to register at a discounted rate.
If you are both a BSS staff member and a parent of a BSS student (JK through Grade 6), please reach out to Liz or Randy directly to receive a discount on Fun Plus discount for school-year programming.

PL Week Camp • August 25–29, 2025
Exclusively for the children of BSS staff.
Join us for a joyful end-of-summer celebration!
PL Week Camp is a full-day program running from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at BSS, designed to keep kids engaged, active, and having fun through:
- Exciting specialty workshops
- Creative crafts
- Outdoor play
- Games and group activities
What’s Included:
- Two school-approved snacks each day
- (vegan, nut-free, and gluten-free options available)
- A full schedule of themed, active, and creative programming
- Note: Campers must bring their own lunch
Home Alone & Babysitting Certificate Course
Campers entering Grade 6 or higher (as of Fall 2025) can opt into the Canada Safety Council’s Home Alone & Babysitting Certificate Course for a small additional fee.
- Available as an opt-in during registration.
PL Week Camp Theme Days
Get ready for a week of creativity, costumes, and non-stop fun!
Campers are invited to dress up, bring ideas, and dive into each day’s exciting theme.
Monday – Superhero Showdown
Who will save the day? (Spoiler: everyone.) Kick off the week with capes, courage, and creativity! Campers will invent their own superhero identities, design masks, and take part in fun challenges that test their strength, smarts, and teamwork.
Tuesday – Creative Chaos Day
Let your wild ideas run free—anything goes today! A day of open-ended fun and boundless invention! Campers will explore a mix of art, movement, and hands-on activities—think tie-dye, music jams, collage-making, and more.
Wednesday – Pyjama & Popcorn Party
Perfect for midweek recharging—with slippers, of course! Come cozy and stay comfy! Campers are invited to wear their favourite PJs as we enjoy a chill day of storytelling, indoor games, popcorn treats, and movie magic.
Thursday – Mythical Creatures & Legends
Expect creature creation stations, magical games, and lots of legendary fun! Unleash your imagination! From dragons and unicorns to phoenixes and mermaids, campers will dive into a world of fantasy and folklore.
Friday – Colour Splash Friday
Let’s celebrate summer in full colour! We’re wrapping up the week with a rainbow explosion! Campers can come dressed in their favourite colour or team up in colour groups for games, crafts, and our end-of-week dance party.

Join us at BSS for full-day Professional Learning Day Camps filled with creativity, connection, and fun! Campers will explore a variety of engaging activities—from crafts and games to outdoor adventures and hands-on workshops—all led by our experienced and enthusiastic team.
Two school-approved snacks are included each day, with vegan, nut-free, and gluten-free options available.
Please note: participants are required to bring their own lunch.

Curriculum Evening Child Care • 6:00 to 8:30 PM September 11
(Also open to the BSS community, registration opens August 22.)
Drop your child(ren) off with our wonderful team in the BSS Learning Commons to explore crafts and games, LEGO and more during the Curriculum Evening. A snack (all school approved, with vegan, nut free and gluten free options available) is included in the fee and BSS staff receive an extra-low rate for this mini-camp.
Note: all participants must be in JK or above to register and should eat their dinner before arriving. One school-approved snack is included, with vegan, nut-free, and gluten-free options available.
